Dr. James Abadi

Dr. James Abadi was born in Lexington, Kentucky and graduated from Lexington Catholic High School. He attended Virginia Wesleyan College where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Business and was a four-year starter for the men's varsity soccer team. After playing professional soccer for two years, Dr. Abadi returned to Lexington to attend the University Of Kentucky College Of Dentistry where he graduated in 2010. He continued his education at UK's General Practice Residency program where he received advanced training with special emphasis on implant dentistry and oral surgery.

Dr. Abadi is certified in Intravenous (IV) Sedation and is specially trained to deal with anxious or nervous patients. He earned his IV sedation certification because he is committed to ensuring that his patients are relaxed and comfortable during their procedures.

When Dr. Abadi is not practicing dentistry he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, including his wife Melissa and their two dogs Bailey and Bella. Dr. Abadi and his wife are avid snowboarders and enjoy walking the dogs, riding bikes, and working out.
